PancakeSwap is a decentralized exchange built on the BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, and Aptos network. With its numerous features, such as Liquidity Pools (LPs), yield farming, Syrup Pools, Initial Farm Offerings (IFOs), and NFT profiles - PancakeSwap has become a popular platform among cryptocurrency traders and investors.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to get started with PancakeSwap:
1. Set up a crypto wallet
To use PancakeSwap, you need a wallet that supports the BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, or Aptos. Fortunately, almost any wallet will do! You can use wallets like Trust Wallet, MetaMask, or Binance Wallet.

If you prefer BNB Smart Chain network, you will need to set up a wallet and have BEP-20 tokens + BNB ready. See the guide here.
2. Connect your wallet to PancakeSwap
First, go to the PancakeSwap website and click on "Connect" in the upper right-hand corner. Select your wallet and connect it to PancakeSwap. For most browser extension wallets, simply select their icon, and follow the instructions in the pop-up window. Here are examples of how to connect your Trust Wallet and MetaMask.

3. Go to the Swap page here.

4. Choose the token you want to trade from the dropdown menu in the "From" section. The default setting is BNB.

Whichever token you choose, you will need to make sure you have some to trade with. Your balance is shown above the token dropdown menu.
5. Choose the token you want to trade to in the "To" section as above. Next, type an amount for your "To" currency by clicking inside the input box.

Your "From" currency amount will be estimated automatically. You can also type your "From" amount and have the "To" amount estimate automatically if you like.
6. Check the details, and click the Swap button.

7. A window with more details will appear. Check the details are correct.

When you are ready, click the Confirm Swap button. Your wallet will ask you to confirm the action.
8. Done! You can click View on BscScan to see your transaction details on the explorer.
